ニーズがあるから作る。
そういう選択肢もあるかもしれない。でも、それが理由で決して褒められない生活スタイル―「使い捨て」や「無責任な廃棄」―を助長するような「モノづくり」はあってはならないと思うのだ。
本当につくるべきは、捨てられない傘。
流行や時代が変わったとしても、捨てられない傘を作ること。
いや、ユーザーから「捨てたくない」「大事にしたい」と思ってもらえる傘を作るべきだ。
雨が降って、無残に捨てられたビニール傘を見る度に、そう思う。
平年だと、関東地方は６月８日ごろ梅雨入りを迎える。
いよいよ本格的に傘の出番だ。
